Mulan (1998) - 100 Years of Disney Animation

Our next movie is Mulan from 1998 (the year of by birth!), which was notably the first movie made entirely in Disney’s animation studio at the Disney-MGM park in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Since the studio opened with the park in 1989, it had provided some animation for all of Disney’s movies at that point, but this was their first time making an entire film by themselves. And for their first effort, they did a pretty good job; while not one of the best movies from the Renaissance, Mulan still has plenty of elements that make it a pretty solid film.
